thanks, florizelle. they're so rare in the west, it seems, so i was thrilled to find these. the one with her (but the hem of her kimono) behind a screen is a longtime favorite. it seems to define the essence.

I don't have the opportunity to see the film "Manet in love",but from Degas' painting, it seems that i can heard the piano sound by madame Manet,half silhouettes create very charismatic of imaginary space.
